Q&A

Once progress has been made,, you can always return and continue your work by accessing the GiftsOnline Portal found here.

  • Q. How do I access the Grant Application?

    • When accessing the application for the first time, please use the link above. To return to your application, please access your account through the GiftsOnline Portal found here

  • Q. I forgot my GiftsOnline password. What do I do?

    • If you have access to your account but have forgotten your password, please follow the “forgot my password” prompt on the GiftsOnline login page.

  • Q. Will an FAFCC staff member email me after I have submitted the Grant Application?

    • No, awardees will not receive confirmation of submission from an FAFCC staff member as GiftsOnline submissions will generate an automated email. If you cannot locate your email, please check your junk mail and make sure mail@grantapplication.com is on your safe sender list. It is the grantees responsibility to ensure they have successfully submitted their proposal.

  • Q. What if I have questions regarding the content of the Grant Application?

    • We encourage all awardees to read the Notification of Funding Availability (NOFA) in its entirety, in addition to viewing all webinar, video sources, and application copy in PDF form. If no source answers your question, e-mail is the best form of communication for questions. If you do call and your call is not answered, please leave a voicemail with your name and question. We encourage all grantseekers to wait until the August 4th, 5th, and 6th webinars have been conducted before reaching out with any questions.

  • Q. What if I have a technical related issue?

    • For any technical difficulties, please contact Matt English at Matt@fafcc.org. If possible please provide a screenshot of the technical issue in an email.

  • Q. I submitted a grant proposal, am I guaranteed funding?

    • No, as this is a competitive grant process, funding is not guaranteed. We highly encourage grantseekers to thoroughly review their proposals before submission to ensure all questions are answered correctly and thoroughly. Proposals submitted incorrectly or do not provide the requested documentation are subject to disqualification.

  • Q. What happens if I submit my proposal after the grant deadline?

    • Timely submissions are an additional component of the competitive process and any proposal submitted after 5 pm EST on Tuesday, August 25th will be removed from consideration for the 20-21 Grant Cycle.
