Rosen Shingle Creek | December 12-13, 2019

About the Annual Conference

You are cordially invited to participate in our 2019 Annual Conference. Our theme is “Transforming Clinic, Improving Health Equity.” The Annual Conference is the premier educational and networking meeting for Florida’s free/charitable clinics and networks, and their partners. This year's conference will be geared towards providing professional insight on achieving health equity through clinical and administrative practices.

Every year the Annual Conference brings together executive directors, clinical coordinators, development staff, volunteer providers, and board members, as well as leaders of local and statewide health organizations, for nearly two days of learning, dialogue, and mutual support. This year's attendees can expect to participate in a variety of sessions from addressing health disparities to program evaluating.

Pre-Conference Event: Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness, suicide and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to provide initial help to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis until they can access appropriate professional help. Participants leave the course with certificate recognizing them as a mental health first aider that is valid for three years.

The Americares Event has been rescheduled to Wednesday, December 11th. This event is limited to members who are registered for the conference only.  We are asking attendees to sign-up again, however, preference will go to those who were registered for the September event. If you would like to RSVP please email our Director of Programs at for the reservation form.
