Nicholas X. Duran

Nick joined in October 2015 as Executive Director. He most recently served as the Florida State Director for Enroll America, the nation's leading health care enrollment coalition which brought together community and health organizations, faith leaders, and businesses to help over a million Floridians receive new health coverage. Under his leadership, the organization used a data and metrics-based outreach and education program that engaged thousands of volunteers and developed a diverse set of hundreds of partners across non- and for-profit sectors. Previously, Nick worked with The Children’s Movement of Florida overseeing its health advocacy and policy initiatives aimed at decreasing barriers and increasing access to health care for all of Florida’s children. Before that he worked at the Lydecker Diaz law firm .

Duran currently serves as chair for the University of South Florida Covering Kids and Families State Coalition, is a board member with The Children's Trust and is part of Leadership Florida’s Connect Florida Leadership Institute Class VI. He is a graduate of The University of Florida and New York Law School, was born and raised in South Florida, and lives in Miami with his wife Danielle and two kids Mason and Michaela. Nick was elected November 2016 to the Florida State House of Representatives for District 112.

Christina joined FAFCC in July 2016. Prior to FAFCC, Christina was a Regional Director for Enroll America, the nation’s leading healthcare coalition non-profit. She managed operations in Palm Beach and Broward counties, working with navigator organizations to make sure uninsured individuals had the information they needed to get covered. 

Christina is a graduate of the University of North Florida. As a native Floridian, she currently resides in her hometown of Jacksonville.

Matt joined the FAFCC team in January 2017. He recently served as a field organizer during the 2016 Election in St. Johns County.  A Flagler College alumni, as a student he served as a Gift Officer for the department of Institutional Advancement, where he fundraised for the Annual Flagler Fund. In addition, he served as a Fellow for the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida. There he participated in advocacy work in Tallahassee. Matt has made Jacksonville his new home since graduating in 2015.
