Dear FAFCC Members,

It is with great pleasure that we are announcing that the 2020-2021 State Funds Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Grant Application are now live!

This funding program is available to all FAFCC full-members in good standing. The purpose is to support capacity building products and processes of FAFCC members to improve organizational capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency and service expansion of FAFCC members.

The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) along with all the details and information related to the instruction and steps in completing a grant application will be housed and available here on our FAFCC website.

Grant Application

Application Link: https://www.grantrequest.com/SID_5776?SA=SNA&FID=35033 (This link can only be used once in order to start the application. After you have begun and saved your progress, to return, please use the GiftsOnline Login page found here).

First-time grantseekers will be required to create a GiftsOnline account when accessing the above link. In order to create a new account click on “New Applicant” and follow the prompts. If you are a returning grantseeker, you will not be required to create a new GiftOnline account. 

The Grant Application is one proposal and will require the submission of six attachments including a completed budget form. The budget form template can be downloaded here. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

FAFCC Webinars

FAFCC will be hosting three webinars on August 4th, 5th, and 6th. FAFCC strongly encourages you to wait to complete your grant proposal until after the initial webinars. All webinars will be recorded and posted on our Additional Resources page found here on our website.

Tuesday, August 4th @ 10am EST: Policy Webinar

  • Presented by the FAFCC Team

    • Topic: This webinar will discuss the overall grant program, what can and cannot be applied for, and go over changes to this year's program.

Wednesday, August 5th @ 10am EST: Tech Webinar

  • Presented by the FAFCC Team

    • Topic: This webinar will explore FAFCC's grant platform GIFTSOnline. Our Grants and Data Manager, Matt English, will take you through a demo of the program.

Thursday, August 6th @ 10am EST: Grant Scoring and Expectations

  • Presented by the FAFCC Team

    • Topic: This webinar will cover how grants are evaluated, which can be found in the NOFA, as well as expectations of compliance.

FAFCC has provided an additional resources page found here that will house the following:

  • PDF files of the Grant Application

  • A watermarked copy of the Grant Agreement (This copy is NOT an official document and is NOT to be signed and returned to FAFCC. Instead, this is to allow administrative staff to review and understand the agreement terms if their organization were to be awarded.)

  • Webinars and video tutorials

 

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, award letters will be sent with a PDF attachment of the Grant Agreement on Monday, September 21st. Awardees are required to review, sign, and submit the Executed Grant Agreement by Thursday, September 24th. Please note, grantseekers are NOT guaranteed funding.

The FAFCC team will begin to field questions after July 31st.
