State Funds Grant Introduction

Dear FAFCC Members,

It is with great pleasure that we are announcing that the 2019-2020 State Funds Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Grant Application are now live!

This funding program is available to all FAFCC full-members in good standing. The purpose is to support capacity building products and processes of FAFCC members to improve organizational capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency and service expansion of FAFCC members.

The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) along with all the details and information related to the instruction and steps in completing a grant application will be housed and available here on our FAFCC website.

Please review the NOFA in its entirety prior to starting the LOI and Application process.

2019-2020 Notification of Funding Availability


LOI Link: (This link can only be used once in order to start the LOI. After you have begun the LOI and saved your progress, to return, please use the GiftsOnline Login page found here).

First-time grantseekers will be required to create a GiftsOnline account when accessing the above link. In order to create a new account click on “New Applicant” and follow the prompts. LOIs submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. An LOI must be completed and submitted in order to proceed to the Grant Application.

If you are a returning grantseeker, you will not be required to create a new GiftOnline account. 

Deadline: Friday, July 26th, at 5 pm EST.

Grant Application

Once the LOI has been submitted, the Grant Application will become available in your GiftsOnline account within 48 hours.

The Grant Application is one proposal and will require the submission of six attachments including a completed budget form. The budget form template can be downloaded here. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

              Deadline: Friday, August 23rd, at 5 pm EST.

FAFCC Webinars

FAFCC will be hosting three webinars on July 22nd, 23rd and 24th. FAFCC strongly encourages you to wait to complete your LOI until after the initial webinars. All webinars will be recorded and posted on our Additional Resources page found here on our website.

July 22nd @ 10am EST: NOFA Webinar

  • Presented by the FAFCC Team

    • Topic: This webinar will provide an overview of the new NOFA, review all grant parameters, and answer any related questions.

July 23rd @ 10am EST: Tech Webinar

  • Presented by the FAFCC Team

    • Topic: This webinar will focus on how to successfully navigate and complete the application process through the GiftsOnline platform.

July 24th @ 10am EST: Grant Scoring and Expectations

  • Presented by the FAFCC Team

    • Topic: This webinar will devote additional time to the scoring process as well as expectations FAFCC has for our grantseekers.

FAFCC has provided an additional resources page found here that will house the following:

  • Q&A

  • A downloadable Excel file of the Budget Form

  • PDF files of the LOI and Grant Application

  • A watermarked copy of the Grant Agreement (This copy is NOT an official document and is NOT to be signed and returned to FAFCC. Instead, this is to allow administrative staff to review and understand the agreement terms if their organization were to be awarded.)

  • Webinars and video tutorials


Barring any unforeseen circumstances, award letters will be sent with a PDF attachment of the Grant Agreement on Monday, September 23rd. Awardees are required to review, sign, and submit the Executed Grant Agreement by Thursday, September 26th. Please note, grantseekers are NOT guaranteed funding.

The FAFCC team will begin to field questions after July 16th.
