Meet Dr. Varun Bharwad: Championing Health Equity and Innovation
I'm honored to step into the role of Executive Director at American Muslim Community Clinics (AMCC)—a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality medical and dental care to underserved communities.
With an MD, MPH, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Healthcare Administration, I bring a deep commitment to merging clinical expertise with strategic leadership. My mission is clear: to bridge the gap between care and equity by improving healthcare delivery, expanding services, and cultivating partnerships that create lasting change.
Over the years, I’ve worked at the intersection of medicine, public health policy, and administration—whether leading strategic initiatives at Arthritis and Rheumatology Center, PC or advocating for equitable access through community-driven care models.
At AMCC, we’re not just treating patients—we’re building a system that sees them, supports them, and stands with them.
I'm always open to connecting with fellow leaders, changemakers, and collaborators who believe in the power of inclusive, community-focused healthcare.
Let’s connect—and build a healthier, more equitable future together.
