UPDATE ON Q1 STATE FUNDS GRANT PAYMENTS
We are pleased to share that the first payment for the 2025–26 State Funds Grant cycle was disbursed on Monday, December 1. Thank you for your patience as we worked with the Department of Health to get these released as quickly as possible. FAFCC has begun entering disbursements, and members should expect to see deposits next week.
As a reminder, when payments are initiated in our system, you may receive an automatic email from Bank of America/Bill.com with a subject line that reads “FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF FREE AND CHARITAB received your invoice.” While the phrasing makes it sound like you submitted an invoice or have a balance due, it is simply the system’s default language for documenting outgoing grant payments.
Once payments are scheduled, you’ll receive a second automated notice with the expected deposit date. If any questions come up, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

FAFCC FORMING ETHICS ADVISORY TASK FORCE - ARE YOU INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
FAFCC is forming an Ethics Advisory Task Force to help shape a new Member Code of Conduct, a fair and consistent incident response process, and the structure of the Ethics & Standards Advisory Group. The Task Force will meet virtually January through April and will present recommendations to the FAFCC Board in April.
We’re seeking members with experience in clinical care, pharmacy/medication management, privacy/HIPAA, risk/quality, governance, ethics/compliance, or related areas. Participation is voluntary, and appointment is not automatic. Submissions will be reviewed by the Task Force Chair and Co-Chair, who will bring a recommended slate of members to the Board for approval.
To express interest, please complete the short form here.
The form will remain open until this Friday, December 5, 2025.
Questions can be directed to Rebecca DeLorenzo at rebecca@fafcc.org.
