Position Overview Volunteer pharmacists manage and dispense prescription medication from the on-site dispensary. VIM Jax does not prescribe any narcotics or controlled substances. All new volunteer pharmacists meet with our lead pharmacist to review procedures. The lead pharmacist will also train them on our pharmacy management system, NRx, and our EMR, eClinicalWorks. New volunteers will shadow a current volunteer three times before working autonomously.

Qualifications

• Active registered Florida license - RPh
• One year of experience
