UPDATE YOUR STAFF ROSTER
Last week, we reached out to request an update to your clinic’s staff roster and contact information. Keeping this information current helps us provide more personalized member benefits, share timely updates, and ensure your team has access to important members-only resources on the FAFCC website.
If you missed the email, the census is also available in the Member Compass after logging in. Please take a moment to complete it by June 10. HELP SAVE LIVES - SIGN UP FOR THE OVERDOSE PREVENTION PROGRAM
As the opioid crisis intensifies across Florida, every clinic has an opportunity to make a life-saving impact. Naloxone—a proven opioid overdose reversal medication—has become a critical tool in saving lives. However, access to this medication remains a significant barrier. That's where you come in.
We are urging all FAFCC member clinics to sign up for the Overdose Prevention Program (OPP) and receive FREE naloxone kits for distribution to patients, family members, and caregivers at risk for opioid overdose. By enrolling, your clinic can play a direct role in combatting the opioid crisis and saving lives.
Why Sign Up?
-
Naloxone saves lives: Naloxone is the key to reversing opioid overdoses, and it is especially critical with fentanyl, which is 50-100 times stronger than morphine. Fentanyl-related deaths have skyrocketed in Florida—over 68% of all opioid-related deaths are now attributed to fentanyl.
-
Free naloxone kits: Through the OPP, you will receive free naloxone for distribution to anyone at risk of overdose. There is no cost to your clinic, and the program is simple to join.
-
It's easy to get started: Enrolling in the program takes just a few simple steps. Once enrolled, you’ll have access to training, resources, and the naloxone kits you need to make a difference.
Don’t wait—take action now! Every clinic has the power to make a difference. Sign up today and ensure that naloxone is available to those who need it most.
For more information or to enroll, email ISAVEFL@myflfamilies.com or visit ISAVEFL.com to begin the enrollment process.
Together, we can save lives and give those impacted by opioid addiction the chance they deserve for recovery. Join the Overdose Prevention Program now—because every life is worth saving.
