Position Overview Nurses at Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic play a critical role in providing efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered care. Nurses are expected to anticipate patient and provider needs, provide education relevant to patient diagnoses, and collaborate seamlessly with all levels of staff and volunteers. All nursing activities must align with the clinic’s standards and policies

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Support efficient patient flow and timely care delivery
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families
• Anticipate and respond to the needs of patients and physicians
• Provide patient education relevant to diagnoses and treatments
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure cohesive care delivery
• Adhere to all clinic standards, policies, and protocols
• The ability to assist with last-minute coverage and flexible scheduling needs as required 

Qualifications Valid LPN, RN, BSN, CNA license
