FAFCC Attends Rural Health Transformation Program Convening

Member News,

The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) hosted its 1st Annual Rural Health Transformation Program Convening this month, bringing together Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) sub-awardees, health care leaders, and community partners from across Florida.

The convening provided an opportunity for organizations involved in the state’s federally funded rural health initiatives to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another while reviewing early progress and looking ahead to the work still to come.

FAFCC was glad to be part of the gathering and especially enjoyed connecting with participating organizations, including FAFCC members and RHTP sub-awardees. These conversations offered a valuable opportunity to hear directly from organizations doing the work in their communities and to continue strengthening partnerships around efforts to expand access to care for Floridians in rural areas.

We appreciate AHCA for bringing partners together and look forward to continuing to support our members as Rural Health Transformation Program initiatives move forward across the state.
