UF Health Seeks Primary Care Perspectives on Alzheimer's Screening

A Message from UF Health

Researchers at the UF Health Precision Health Research Center are seeking input from healthcare providers on how emerging approaches to Alzheimer’s disease screening could work in real-world primary care settings.

Physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who practice in primary care or family medicine and provide care to older adult patients are invited to complete a brief online survey about the value, feasibility, and clinical use of emerging approaches to early Alzheimer’s disease identification.

The survey focuses on a two-step cognitive and blood-based assessment approach known as CARM-L and seeks provider perspectives on whether this type of approach could add value in primary care, support clinical decision-making and diagnostic confidence, and fit within routine workflows.

Participation includes:

• A 10–15 minute online survey completed at your convenience

• A $20 electronic gift card for the first 100 survey participants

• An optional 20–30 minute virtual interview for up to 15 participants, with a $50 electronic gift card for interview participation

Provider perspectives will help inform how emerging Alzheimer’s disease screening tools are designed and implemented for real-world primary care.
