Celebrating Excellence in Quality Care
NAFC Seal of Quality Awardees
We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on our member clinics who have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to quality care by earning Gold, Silver, or Bronze Seals from the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) Quality Standards Program. These designations are more than just symbols—they represent the dedication, professionalism, and passion each clinic brings to serving the medically underserved.
What Are the NAFC Quality Seals?
The NAFC Quality Standards program enables free and charitable clinics to self-attest to a robust framework of policies and procedures that uphold best practices in healthcare delivery.
Earning a Seal of Quality is a tangible reflection of the dedication and discipline our clinics bring to every aspect of their work. These seals affirm that clinics are meeting or exceeding nationally recognized standards in five critical domains:
- Patient Care: Ensuring every patient receives compassionate, high-quality treatment, regardless of their ability to pay.
- Administrative Excellence: Upholding sound governance, transparent financial practices, and policies that safeguard both patients and staff.
- Risk Management & Safety: Creating safe, reliable environments where patients can feel confident in the care they receive.
- Community Collaboration: Partnering with local hospitals, public health agencies, and other nonprofits to create a stronger, more connected health safety net.
- Performance Improvement: Using data, evaluation, and feedback to continually raise the bar for quality outcomes.
These achievements ripple outward. Patients benefit from consistent, reliable, and safe care. Volunteers and staff gain confidence knowing they are part of an organization committed to excellence. Community partners can be assured that their investments are making an impact within clinics that adhere to the highest standards of accountability.
